With two doctors on staff (one with a M.D. and another with a Ph.D. in Microbiology & Immunology), we have the technical expertise to create realistic, science-themed 3D prints. Whether you’re looking for models to serve as teaching aids or you want to see your life’s work at the macro scale instead of the micro, we can help!
We stock some scientific prints in our Online Store if you want to check there first! Otherwise, reach out to us at info@inktreescience.com and we’ll be happy to set up a free consultation for a custom print!
Example prints:
Area of Expertise | Example Prints |
---|---|
Cell Biology | various cells types (such neurons or phagocytes), organelles, membranes, etc. |
Molecular Biology | DNA, proteins, etc. |
Microbiology | parasites, bacteria, viruses, etc. |
Immunology | immune cells with receptors, antibodies, etc. |
We charge based on the time and effort required to research, design and print your job. After our consultation, we’ll put together a custom quote for the project to meet your needs. We use the pricing structure below.
Inktree Science Custom Pricing:
Expense | Rate (per hour) |
---|---|
Computer-assisted designing (CAD) | $15 |
3D printing/post-processing | $15 |
Science consulting | $50 |
Materials | varies |
Simple projects generally don’t incur the consulting fee. However, large jobs (i.e., printing all of the proteins in the complement pathway) will require additional research beyond our standard design/print fees to ensure accuracy. All project designs will be approved by the customer before moving into print production.
